Writing Alternative Text
Identify the body region or organ shown and, when possible, note the imaging mode, such as grayscale, Doppler, or 3D ultrasound. Describe the major visible structures, type of probe if available. Describe any highlighted or color-coded regions, orientation markers, annotations or highlighted regions ("whiter" or "darker") without interpreting findings or suggesting diagnoses. Do not use interpretive terms such as mass, lesion, abnormal, or pathology.
Example Alt Text
"Color Doppler ultrasound shows a kidney in longitudinal view within surrounding abdominal tissue. A boxed sampling region covers most of the organ, with small red and blue flow signals inside. The Doppler scale ranges from negative 7 to 7 centimeters per second, and the image depth is 6 centimeters."
