Electrical circuit

Level 2 Category

Definition

An electrical circuit is a visual representation that illustrates its components and their interconnections. It may take the form of a photograph, diagram, layout, or schematic, and is used to communicate the circuit's design, structure, and operation, allowing engineers and technicians to understand, analyze, build, or maintain the circuit.

Writing Alternative Text

Describe the components included, how they’re connected by wires or paths, and any important flows, signals, or relationships.

Example Alt Text

"Block diagram shows a smart power-monitoring system. An RFID-controlled AC source feeds four MCU-controlled outlets and a DC power unit. Each outlet has a current-sensing circuit connected to a differential four-channel multiplexer, while a voltage-sensing circuit and the multiplexer feed an energy-metering IC. The IC communicates with the MCU through SPI; MCU outputs control the outlets, LCD, Arduino Uno, multiplexer, and ZigBee device through GPIO and UART."
